Bodybuilding competitors complete three separate rounds of judging wherein the panel will determine the winner based on the various aspects of the physiques on stage. The first round is the 60 second individual free posing routine. The second and third rounds are judged in groups; the Symmetry Round (quarter turns) and the Compulsory Posing (muscularity) round.
Compulsory poses are: Front double bicep, front lat spread, side chest and side tricep (any side), rear double bicep – spiking one calf, rear lat spread – spiking the other calf, Abs and Thigh, Most Muscular.
Stage attire for Bodybuilding classes is standard posing trunks.

The Classic Physique shall display visible separation within the abdominal region, from top to bottom; Clean delineation between all three heads of the deltoids, triceps and biceps, clean lines between the quadriceps muscle groups and hamstrings with full shapely and symmetrical muscle bellies.
Classic Physique is a division that throws back to the fluidity of lean physiques with wide v-tapered backs, rounded, three-dimensional shoulders, and ridged abs.
The judges will look for a smooth, artistic, and well-choreographed routine which may include any number of poses; however, the mandatory poses must be included. The competitor must also include intermittent poses so as to display the muscular development of his physique. This category consists of 3 rounds, 60s free posing round (incorporating the mandatory poses), the symmetry round via quarter turns and the compulsory round consisting of 6 classic poses: Front double biceps, Side chest (any side), Side Tricep (any side), Double back biceps. Abdominals (with vacuum – a bonus) Favourite classic pose of athlete choice.

fitness physique
The core physical aspects OF Male Fitness physique are condition, muscularity, and proportion. A high level of CONDITION with full definition in the upper and lower body.
Condition should not be to the extreme level, such as that required in bodybuilding and figure, however, should be enough to produce some vascularity and intra-muscular striations. Male Fitness physique will do quarter turns done in a group, and will do 3 compulsory poses called in the line-up, they are front single bicep, side chest, and abdominal.
